God Becomes Us
An
Unconventional Spiritual Journey
What
happens when a small boy innocently begins a quest to know God
personally? Inspired by his Roman Catholic upbringing, he seeks
to achieve the promises of his religious training -- inner peace
and a direct relationship with God. By his eighteenth year, he
has developed his own theory of how God has set up our world –
as one of duality, relativity, good and evil. By chance he
meets a spiritual teacher who speaks of a reality beyond duality
and relativity, a single-minded state called enlightenment.
Innocently he thinks, "wouldn't it be wonderful to live in the
same state of being that Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, and so many
great souls have achieved?" After more than a year of prayer,
meditation and yoga, he receives a life-altering enlightenment
experience.
In
1982, after the devastating loss of his closest friend, four
enlightened masters come to him. They begin five years of
teaching designed to help him recover and prepare for the
enormous challenges he must face in order to complete his
journey. They ask him to pass on their teachings in a book
which focuses on their “letting go process.”
I
am that boy and that young man,
now forty-eight years of age. The stories in this book are
mine, but the central concepts and lessons are those of my
guides and teachers as they asked me to present them to you.
The Letting Go Process
The core teaching of my Guides
was a four-step letting go process. This process is the
central theme of God Becomes Us. To me, it is the essential information in the
book.
The Guidebook
Included in God Becomes Us is a guide book for those who want to
master or learn more about the processes taught to me by my
guides, such as telepathy and the letting go process. It
may be a great introduction for some, and for others a helpful
review.
For
most of us, there is more to let go of in this life than receive
and hold on to. I hope this book supports you in your
spiritual journey.
Sincerely,
Eric Jennings
